Kelli Ra Anderson is a nationally published freelance writer for various magazines and author of her recently published 60-day devotional, Divine Duct Tape, that comes from her own experience as a mother of three teens (two with Asperger’s Syndrome, a high functioning form of autism). Her latest article in Christianity Today’s Leadership Journal magazine is one of many over the years that have focused on the struggles and practical how-tos of understanding and embracing families of special needs children, especially those who struggle with social/emotional developmental disorders.

Since her sons’ diagnosis ten years ago, Kelli’s ongoing need to lean hard on her faith has created a passion to communicate to others the essential role a relationship with God and His word plays in our lives as individuals and as parents. Her heart for encouraging special needs parents of faith has lead to the creation of her Divine GPS blog (kellira.com), speaking opportunities including Moody radio, co-leading a special needs ministry, and the creation of an online support community for special needs ministry leaders (see Facebook, SNADLEADERS).
Kelli currently lives in St. Charles, Illinois with her exceedingly patient husband, Adrian, of 22 years, their three teens, Johnathan, David and Sarah, one large Golden-doodle and two long-surviving cats. When not pounding the keys on a computer, Kelli can usually be found digging in the dirt, experiencing new culinary adventures in the kitchen or seeking out God’s therapy in the great outdoors.
