Sandra Peoples lives in Texas with her church-planter husband. They have two boys, David and James (who is on the autism spectrum). Sandra has a degree in English from Hardin-Simmons University and a Master of Divinity degree from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary.
A year after her son’s autism diagnosis, Sandra wrote a book about their experiences—Speechless: Finding God’s Grace in My Son’s Autism. She and her husband Lee also wrote a Bible study for special-needs parents, Held: Learning to Live in God’s Grip. She is the co-editor of 30 Prayers for Special Needs Parents and the author of the upcoming book Self-Care for the Special-Needs Mom.
